WHAT WE DO

The Vegan Earth Day March is an international grassroots day of action to bring awareness to animal agriculture's role in causing our current climate and ecological crisis and empower individuals to create personal, institutional, and governmental change.

OUR MISSION:

To create a societal vegan paradigm shift that normalizes non-violence, sustainability, and collective liberation for all earthlings through the immediate development and transition to a plant-based veganic food system.

OUR GOALS:

Generate awareness of the ecological and climate impacts of animal agriculture and the importance of ethical veganism and a veganic food system

Build grassroots power and momentum for transitioning to an ethical and sustainable plant-based food system

Put pressure on elected officials to take action ending subsidies and bailouts for animal agriculture (and the FARM bill in the US specifically)

OUR VALUES:

  • We are rooted in anti-speciesism

  • Our approach is non-violent

  • We are working for the collective liberation of all sentient beings

  • We value decentralized grassroots solutions and activism - not top-down corporate and technological approaches

  • We believe both systems change AND individual change are important

  • We seek a global vegan paradigm shift

  • We seek a radical and holistic transformation of our entire food and agriculture system including the FARM bill and governmental subsidies

  • We believe a regenerative veganic food system is key to healing our relationship with the planet and all that inhibit it

  • We do not support or promote corporate industrial agriculture (ie. GMO mono-crops and synthetic pesticides)

  • We are advocating for a vegan plant-based food system and do not promote lab-cultured meat and dairy
